Confess! Do you ever read "locked" threads?

If it's a real 'flamefest', sometimes, I do. I want to see what / who got it locked. And, I especially want to see what the Mod has to say who locks it.

Usually, I can tell ahead of time if something is going to get locked...either in the short or long run. And, I don't even bother to post.

I actually missed the flame war today so I went back and read all those locked threads. Guess what? No surprizes. They really make you yawn at a certain point, but I maintain a morbid fascination.

sometimes there is no clear reason for the locking of the thread; those are the hardest to understand. Sometimes its just flame city and you wonder why it wasn't locked sooner.
