This girl is awesome. She has a set of great proposals to make California fiscally solvent again, like making lap dances tax deductible, legalizing same sex marriage to raise revenue, and taxing breast implants to raise money from Beverly Hills. She is an independent minded woman, and she cares about California. Her slogan is., "We've had Brown, we've tried Gray, now it's time for some blonde." :)

... she's one of my leading candidates right now. I'm not among those who are 100% settled on Bustamante already. I think there's still room for other legit candidates to emerge and have a serious look taken at them. I'd like the media to shine a brighter light on Georgy. She looks good so far. :)

yes, I am dealing with such surreal concepts as the possibility of voting for Gary Coleman for governor. The other day I found myself saying to a friend things that I could never have imaged might come out of my mouth.

"I haven't taken a serious look at Gare Coleman's platform yet, but I intend to." ... followed by... "Either way, Gary Coleman has got to be better than Arnold."

That was kinda when it hit me. This thing is STRANGE. :)

Either way, I think people "should vote for" whoever they feel is the best candidate.

I'm just shocked that anybody can seriously think Mary Carey is the best. I mean, maybe if this was Big Brother or American Idol where you're just picking who you're gonna watch on TV next week... but we're talking about the person who's gonna run the state for the next 3 years. Mary Carey ain't the top choice of those 135. She comes in a bit ahead of Larry Flynt in my book.

As funny as this whole thing is, it's no joke. At the end of the day we've gotta pick somebody to run this state. There's no way I could trust that job in the hands of Carey, although I do admit she beats Arnie, Simon, and a couple other candidates.
