Yankees vs Red Sox
Who wins? I'm going for the Red Sox because Tim Wakefield is the likely starter and he is on my fantasy baseball team.

1. Sox all the way baby!
Time to kick some Yankee ass! Are they playing tonight? I've been too busy to follow the schedule lately.

7. I support Constitutional Amendment allowing torture of Yankee fans
So, you can probably make a reasonably accurate guess about where I personally fall on this particular rivalry.

Go Tigers!
Die screaming, Yankees!

9. I go for Wakefield at home. If he falters early, it'll be close, a bullpen
game.

(full disclosure requires me to add I'm a BoSox fan, duh.)

14. This was our household debate.
My brother has always been a Red Sox fan and I was always a Yankee fan. I'd cheer on the Red Sox if the Yankees weren't involved, to back my brothers' team, but in this case, gotta vote Yankees!

:hi:

15. The Yankees will win, I have proof
I'm hitting a sports bar tonight and in our crowd there will be one of the most obnoxious people I've ever met. He's a hardcore Yankee fan and I've actually kept track of this: in games where the Yankees have been on TV where both he and I are present, the Yanks are 16-0.

This guy treats every run like a typical bar football crowd would treat their local team running back a kickoff for a TD in overtime. Even if the Yanks are up 14-1, he'll cheer that two-run homer like he just won the lottery.

I like this guy as a general rule, he's even got the right politics (I hope he isn't a member here, LOL), but when the Yankees are on TV he turns into the north side of a southbound baboon. Since I know for a fact he's joining us, you Sox fans should not bet anything.

16. LET'S-GO-YAN-KEES!
We all remember the last time Wakefield took the mound against the Yanks, right?

P.S... i hope Manny gets beaned early on.

17. Tim McCarver says Yanks are favored this weekend because Nomar and Trott
Nixon are out and Yank's pitching is better right now. Pedro will not pitch and actually is not pitching well anyway - he will pitch at the Stadium next weekend, though. How great is this for Sox/Yanks fans - back to back weekend series in April!
