My friend is bringing it over, I have heard it is really good. Plus, I play poker anyway regularly with a group and we recently started playing no-limit hold'em as an experiment with low stakes of course so it will be interesting to watch the movie.
I didn't love it. Thought it was hokey, and Malkovich's "tell" was stupid. Nobody would ever have gotten that far in poker with such a tell.
Also, the whole idea of it being a big deal to get a pro player like Johnny Chang to fold is nonsense. It's easy to get a good player to fold - it's the bad ones that cause you trouble
its not like the real thing. But it helps newbies to get into poker in the first place. You should appreciate newbies. They give you money all the time.
