4. Rubbers?
In NE Florida the other day, we got four inches of rain in less than one hour. I didn't see a single soul wearing rubbers! In fact, I haven't even seen a pair of rubbers since I left Pennsylvania about thirty years ago.

Heck! I didn't even wear rubbers when I went into my flooded former garage/then playroom/now a carpeted garage the other day. It had about two inches of water soaking the carpet. (I went barefoot. YUCK!)

Guess what I get to do today instead of marching in the rain in Boston? :-( :evilfrown:

7. Rubbers and boots are different!
Boots usually go up to or past the ankle. Rubbers are just little things that fit over the bottom and part of the tops of the shoes... Just enough to keep the rain from soaking into the seams of the shoes. I think that they have also been known as golashes?

How long a while depends on how long I have to wait for the bus.

17. I will remember Massachusetts
Edited on Sat Aug-16-03 02:03 PM by Crewleader
Feel I'm goin' back to Massachusetts,
Something is telling me I must go home.
And the lights all went out in Massachusetts.
The day I left her standing on her own.

Tried to hitch a ride to San Franciso
Gotta do the things I wanna do.
And the lights all went out in Massachusetts
They brought me back to see my way with you.

Talk about the life in Massachusetts,
Speak about the people I have seen,
And the lights all went out in Massachusetts
And Massachusetts is one place I have seen. ;-)

I will remember Massachusetts....:hi:

18. Rubbers.....
:eyes:

WHAT are you folks in Boston going to need Rubbers for? I suppose the old adage is "No Glove no Love" and I'm glad to hear you folks are playing it safe in Boston!

:D

BTW, drink some really expensive top shelf Tequilla in my honor. I have a bottle of Herradura in my home I should open up and do a shot in honor of all you drunk Boston Rubber wearing Evil DUers
