When Korean farm families have a baby, they string a straw rope across the front gate. If it's a boy, it'll have red chilis woven into it, and for a girl, pieces of charcoal (don't ask, no idea). You're not supposed to enter, at least without asking, while that rope is hung - customarily for 100 days after birth, at which time there's a big party.

Actually, J'villes are good "Sheboygan-style" -- you know what I mean, but the others might not. Grill the sausage, marinate it in beer (it picks up more beer flavor if you put it in the brew after grilling -- also keeps them moist for tailgating), and serve with sauteed onions. YUM!

to clarify, the hot dog, like you get at the ballgame? gee, it seems some people just arent' happy till they make a vulgar toilet joke out of everything.
