Do you have an unsolved Rubik's cube?

I found this site and it is really good for getting them back into shape. It is especially good because in order to analyze the cube in a group theoretical sense it helps to have it solved first. So anyways here is a solution guide. http://www.wrongway.org/cube/solve.html

It will also tell you if someone has re-arranged the stickers in a fashion that renders it unsolvable.

I used to just take mine apart and put them back together the right way. Ya know, thinking outside the box ;)

2. my daughter solved it when she was about 6 or 7 years old

while watching TV and not really focusing on it. When I asked her how she did it (I was dumbfounded) she replied "you just start twisting it and the pattern unfolds."

4. When the cube first came out

My girlfriend got it for me along with the book. Using the book, I memorized the steps how to solve any cube, any time.

My friends were amazed!!!!!!!!! ;)

But it was pure rote.
