Could you get behind "Pretendident" as a term for Dubya?
Previously used on DU(2) once each by RIindependent and Journeyman. I like it!

1. I like "George the Unready"
by analogy with Ethelred the Unready of England.

(There's a nice pun here, because in Old English Ethelred was called redeless, ill-advised. GWB is both "unready" in that sense, and unready to be president in the modern sense of the word; likewise unready for Al-Qaeda, unready for Iraq...)
