700 Pound Man Loses 340lbs - Selling His Success Story
<snip>

After losing a tremendous 340 pounds in 13 months after previously weighing almost 700 pounds, Gibby is now selling his success story to people who need to hear inspiration.

Gibby, a Lake City (Anderson County) resident, was told by doctors that he would never walk again after he suffered a terrible fall. It came to a point at which Gibby was so heavy that he could not fit on a regular stretcher, so paramedics had to remove an extra-wide door and place him on it.

At one point, Gibby was placed in a nursing home and was told he would probably die there. He said he smoked three packs of cigarettes a day, drank alcohol and felt sorry for himself.

After struggling with his weight nearly all his life, Gibby finally decided to do something about it.

He said he tried every single diet plan available, spending thousands of dollars in the process.

1. So was it Jesus that got you to lose the weight? Or sensible eating?
I'm confused.

3. Jesus ate a lot of bread and drank wine
So it's not logical to assume He was on a low carb diet. Did eat a lot of fish though (had friends in the business) so His Omega 3 levels were probably pretty good.

But then He was only 33 when He was crucified, so that might not be the best example of a longevity diet.

2. Did you happen to notice the poll on the left side of the page (at link?)
They're asking whether the Bush or Clinton administrations are to blame for 9-11

4. No one loses 340 pounds in 13 months...
on a DIET. I imagine he had some gastro surgery to help him along. I wouldn't be surprised to find out this 'miracle diet' is just some money-making scheme, and the real weight loss was from surgery.

12. I don't even think he could lose that much in 13 months
with gastric bypass surgery. My daughter had that and she only lost 200 pounds in a year and a half.
