Ok, Best seldom played Rolling Stones song.
I have three.

Torn and Frayed from the greatest album of all time, Exile on Main Street. Better country than any of the crap being released today.

And two from Some Girls. Respectable is a rocker, and the follow-up Keith song Before They Make Me Run. Saw Keith perform that song with the New Barbarians at the Tarrant County Convention Center (Ft. Worth) in 1979.

2. Frankly, I don't hear "Connection" enough on the radio.
And Clear Channel corporate radio has been shying away from "Bitch" recently, as well, for some reason.

10. Totally agree!
It suddenly bubbles up on the soundtrack of Goodfellas, during the scene when Harry Hill is all coked up and losing it, freaking out about helicopters, etc. What a great movie moment, partly because of that hot little riff.

8. "Memo From Turner"?Actually,it's a Jagger/Richards tune
from the "Performance"soundtrack.Great Ry Cooder slide.Used to hear it a lot in the early 70's,but haven't heard it in ages on radio.I do have the soundtrack, mostly for that one tune.

9. I like "We Love You"
Done with the Beatles, with no attribution. Never on an album, probably in some collection or other. Some might disqualify it because of the Beatles influence, I suppose.

18. Much as I like "Monkey Man"
(I can just see a video with bu$h), "We Love You" is the one! Cannot get that piano riff out of my otherwise empty head since I read this thread!

13. "Dead Flowers" and "Sweet Virginia" !!
I cannot figure out why those songs were never hits.

The last line of the chorus from Sweet Virginia has really defined my approach to life. In fact, I think I'll make it my new sig line: "Got to scrape that shit right off your shoe..."

14. Happy.
I tend to gravitate toward songs where the usual lead singer takes a back seat. Always enjoyed Hall and Oates tunes where John Oates did the vocals as well..

19. "Down The Road Apiece"

From The Rolling Stones, Now.

An honest to goodness respectable cover of the Chuck Berry tune - nice Richards guitar work.
