Thats it! I'm done with Netflix....
I've had Lost in Translation as the first choic on my queue since the day it came out. It's almost 2 months later and I still haven't gotten it sent to me. Same thing with 21 grams which came out over a month ago.

So today I had two movies going back that they received yesterday, and I had Kill Bill as my #3 choice and it comes out today so there should be no copies out yet.

So what do they send me? My #5 and #6 selections. This is ridiculous. No more. I'll make the trips to the video store to see movies I want to see rather than pay their fee to get old movies that are far down on my list of choices.

2. Wow, I haven't had that problem at all.
I have always received my first choices. Maybe it depends on the area? Or people like me who don't return the movies right away after they have seen them? I have Lost in Translation now, I guess I better return it so someone who is waiting for it can watch it.

3. I don't know what it is...
But this is the third time I've tried this service and the third time I've given it several months to get better, and the third time this has happened.

7. Have you contacted them about it?
I would be curious as to how they handle this situation. You might want to try and see what they say. See if they have decent customer service.

8. Yes, and I received a pretty generic response...
..that looked like it was simply cut and pasted from their site. It didn't even really answer my question.

If I'm returning movies on the day another movie is released, and that movie is first on my list of choices then how can there be a "long wait" or a "short wait" even.

Either way, I'm done with them.

9. Netflix is the greatest.
Who cares how old the movies are? I sure as hell don't. At least I don't have to drive to Blockbuster, pay more and pay a late fee if I keep them longer than the 2- or 3-day limit.
Check your queue daily and see if the movies are available and then move them up to No. 1. At least that's what I do.

12. But I don't even have to return with On-Demand
I just click the On-Demand button on my VCR and I have all sorts of movies to choose from even a selection of older movies at a reduced price. Since I subscribe to HBo I have all their movies for free plus their TV series, specials and documentaries. I also have (for free) National Geographic Channel, E!, A&E, History Channel and a slew of other special interest channels plus I get get the NBC night news at any time of the day or night.

And I don't even have to leave my bedroom!
