If *I* ran a conservative website....
the VERY best thing I could hope for would be for a much larger liberal site to talk about me, send people over to chat on my board, and make me the focus of their attention.

Good work, people.

1. I wouldn't waste my time posting on a site I didn't believe in
I don't know why they think it's such a big deal to stir things up here. Why do they want to waste their time like that?

Where they are praying to a god that you don't believe in.

I couldn't do it.

3. I'll say this
Any freeper who comes over here, puts on an act, and racks up thousands of posts talking about the very thing they're against really needs constructive hobbies.

In fact, they should be nominated for the Top 10 Conservative Idiots list.

These fools really need to get a life. I've been tempted to post at FR at times, but the thought just bores the hell out of me. And I really never see much in the way of substance posted on Conservative boards. Bunch of moronic ditto monkeys. Which is why I don't plan on posting at the 'pseudo-conservative' site, aka WannabeUnderground. I'm sure they can entertain themselves adequately in their little cyber circle jerk.

5. i dont see why anyone would waste thier time disrupting
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 12:42 AM by LastKnight
another board, its immature and just plain stupid...

dont bother giving those people attention, this goes for anyone, we all know which conservative board were talking about, they live off our attention. if they want to disrupt our board, fine, let the mods handle them, in the meanwhile pity them that they have too little of a life that they have to go find somone to bother just because of thier own personal shortcomings.

the best thing we can do to them is ignore them.

7. that's exactly my point
but sadly, I see too many people here mentioning it. It gives them a hard-on every time it happens.

Even worse, I see some DU'ers are posting there. I don't get it.

9. I checked their site out
and it was sad, really, really sad.

I don't post here much, even though i've been here a while; usually just read LBN.

can someone clue me in on what the big deal is about racking up numbers of posts?

the few threads i read over on CU were all talking about getting your numbers up.

what's the point?

12. Not true
I've seen many high-count posters and even donors who were TS'ed.

If you act like too much of an ass, you get the boot.

16. but what about people that aren't here to disrupt
though they seem to make a big deal out of having reached some big number of posts??

i've noticed this on other bbs, and often there's these cutesy labels that go by posters' names like "board guru", or whatever.

i have noticed that i'm getting a little addicted myself here lately, so maybe i'll just find out on my own.

will y'all throw me a party when i reach 100? <grin>

15. I'm guilty
Just causing trouble, you know, keeping people on their toes. Okay, I was bored, and I have too much time on my hands. I have made a vow never to return, so I hope I can be forgiven of my digression.

:dunce:

They are no different than FR. Same hate, different site.

17. They spend too much energy promoting negativism.
That can turn Lurkers into Leavers over there, and will attract the wrong clientele.

People who scheme like that are sad. Why not stay on their own message instead of trashing ours?

I predict a slow death for all sites that do that.
