Technical question, need help
I have a number of xvid video files that all seem to play just a wee bit to fast, everything is moving a bit to fast, and all the voices are higher pitched than should be.

I suspect its because they were recorded in the UK, which plays at something like 25fps, and my WMP want to play at 30fps.

So what I need is a (free) xvid player that can let me control the playback speed, if such a thing exists, or, if yall have another way to fix this, either way, please help!

(If your curious, they are Enterprise "FOV XVid" videos)

3. Ok, I think I have more of an Idea...
The videos that play at the correct speed are at 23.9ish FPS, while the ones that are too fast are all 25.000 FPS, so I just need to know how to change this, or find a program that allows for variable playback.

5. virtualdub
will definitely work

you can find it at www.doom9.org

they also have a bunch of advanced media players there, and i'd put a lot of money down that at least one of them can adjust playback speed. i'm not positive, but check out bsplayer, mediaplayer classic, and PowerDivx.
