What music have you listened to today or yesterday?
Vanessa Carlton - Be Not Nobody (recommended)
Ben Folds - Rockin' The Suburbs (highly recommended)
Blondie - The Curse Of Blondie (highly recommended)
Cat Power - You Are Free (highly recommended)
Courtney Love - America's Sweetheart (recommended for Courtney fans like me)
Jimmy Buffett - Songs You Know By Heart (highly recommended)

Samples from:

Jessica Jacobs (formerly Jessica Riddle) - Chapter 2 - (sounds very good, and I find her super attractive, too!)

Penelope Houston (great! - she was recommended to me in a chat with Ken Barnes, USA Today critic)

Modest Mouse (aren't really my thing so far)

The Darkness (nice to hear some lyrically fun hard rock stuff - I liked it)

Ron Sexsmith - Retriever (very good again - not much of a departure, but that's fine)

Switchfoot and Blindside - thumbs down

Sarah Harmer - can't get into her

Some Girls - Feel It (started falling out of favor - must be that Juliana Hatfield thing again)

Videos from:

Alanis Morrissette (cool video and that song "Everything" is extemely promising that she'll return to Jagged Little Pill level!)

Kimberley Locke (video was better than the song "8th World Wonder." The song is pleasant pop like some songs on the Kelly Clarkson album, but nothing special.)

1. i just made a new cd
all stuff you prolly don't listen to but it was mostly old school rap. (old school by my standards- I'm only 21). It's weird how listening to music you used to listen to all the time can bring back vivid memories. I can even remember smells, weird..

AH! DANG YOU! Now that blasted song is on my head. So much music, so little time.

Hoobastank - "The Reason" CD. great, great.
Sublime - "Wrong Way", the spanish/english song? funny lyrics on the last song.
Trapt - "Echo", "Still Frame" - great band, starting to get a little played out.
Fuel - "Falls on Me" - For any of us that have lost hope at some point in our lives.
Poptart Monkeys - greeeeat cover band seen at Club LaVela in Panama City.

too many more to name.

8. Sheryl Crow is in my car
I listen to it quite often. It's her new(er) hits CD.

Also, Incubus, John Mayer and when I'm tired of those, I break out the mixed CDs with everything from a random Van Morrison or Eric Clapton song, to Presidents of the United States, Nirvana and NIN.

:hi:
