What is truly scary about American politics is that MIM is about as far to the left as Free Republic is to the right, and the Democratic Party is the "vital center". Yet there are some who would try and paint the Democratic Party as being on the far left. In a way I'm glad that groups like MIM exist, since they show what the *real* far left looks like, and the Democratic Party is nowhere near the far left.
