Is Iraq still a member of OPEC?
Is OPEC going to switch to the Euro? Lastly is Iraq still using the Euro instead of the dollar for oil transactions?

1. I dunno.
Is Texas an OPEC member? I think Iraq is becoming our 51st state.

Oh, well. We must expand our horizons.

2. Last I heard they were not recognized by OPEC
because some of the members said they don't have a legitimate government capable of appointing a delegate to OPEC or cooperating with it in any meaningful way. OPEC doesn't do occupied countries.

Chavez, after all the CIA-sponsored disruption in Venezuela, would be among the chief objectors--also the most powerful one.

My information might be out of date. Maybe somebody can come up with more recent news.
