Recent Letter in Our Local Newspaper

JACKSON -- Is there a special time that Susan Sarandon, Michael Moore, Tim Robbins, Sean Penn, the Dixie Chicks, the nine left-wing presidential candidates and, above all else, the liberal news media, need to be at the church for the memorial service for Odai and Qusai Hussein? I'd hate for them to be late.

4. You wouldn't believe it
I love Michigan... Our Senators are great, our governor is great...

But this town is so full of Freepers it's unbelievable.

In the local newspaper, there's letters about how liberals are traitors all the time.

An adult club opened about a year or so ago and the Freepers went into a frenzy because the awning had silhouettes of women on it.

Ludacris, the rapper, was going to perform here but the Freepers and the Fundies got their underoos in a knot about it and pressured the city to pay him almost $40 grand to NOT come perform.

Another adult strip club opened up in town recently (although no alcohol will be served there) and there have been protests beyond belief, with Freepers and Fundies saying they will stand outside and protest, and take pictures of all the people who visit the establishment and put their pictures all over town for everyone to see.

During the run-up to war in Iraq, a house had some signs up that said "Another Family Against War". The signs got ripped down or defaced, and other signs went up in their place all over town saying, "Another Family FOR War".

I could go on and on. The only thing that seems to be dragging down Bush's popularity here is the unemployment. Michigan unemployment is worse than the national, and Jackson has been pretty badly hit. Almost everyone I know has lost their jobs or are underemployed since Dubya took office.

8. I'll bet they think they a sooooo clever.
This is why our corporations have to go overseas for good help. Americans are not really too bright as evidenced by this letter.
