Gambling may not be a CRIME, but Bennett poses as a paragon of CHRISTIAN VIRTUE, not just a run of the mill "law-abiding citizen".

And gambling on a GRAND SCALE (as opposed to inconsequential throw of the dice) can be a serious moral failing in Christian circles.
