Any chance Saudi's calling for release of Doc's is Good Cop/Bad Cop?
I'm wondering today why the Saudi's want these documents released if they are incriminating.

Then I think about the BFEE tactics and wonder if Bush/Cheney/Rove set this up by telling the Saudi's that there's no way in Hell he's going to ever release those redacted pages, but if the Saudi's want to urge for their release that will take the heat off because it will look like they have nothing to hide.

So, Saudi's butts are covered and Chimp & Co. do what's expected and deny the release. They've been sucessful so far with that "Executive Priviledge/Intelligence Secrets crap for so long.......why change now?

Is my hypothesis a possiblility? If not what other reason would Saudi's have for calling for the release of those pages?

1. It might be
but I suspect it is like a guy holding a hand grenade trying to disarm someone with a pistol by pulling the pin.

We need to see whats in them. Ergo the call to Bush to see the Saudi rep immediately. Bush complied of course.

have anything to do with 9/11...which more than likely it will since 7 of 19 "hijackers" are alive, it will set all of the blame on shrub's doorstep. More than likely all of the "incriminating" evidence is either fabricated or circumstantial.

5. You might be right
This is so complicated, it always is when people are lying, isn't it? I also wonder if Bush* has been protecting them because they know so much that could destroy him (not a new idea) and now they are seeing that befriending him is risky at best. So they now decide to bring it out so they can be out from under the "promise." Maybe our nations actions under Bush* have scared them and they want to bring him down? I know, I have become a "Rovian" casualty. Too much spin and I am dizzy and confused.
