BBV: Research project - will someone help please?
The following message arrived today. So many of you are so good at researching things, I wanted to share it with you and see if anyone can "connect the dots". Thanks...

====================================================
I have a friend living in the Houston area who mention that her undergrad son applied for an summer 2004 internship with a recently new company called "Protiviti". I found out through her that this company consists of a majority of Anderson Accounting x employees. Throughout this conversation I found out that they handle alot of odd projects and one of them that sparked an interest to me was their involvement with the voting system with some counties in the state of Texas.

Now alarms went off when I heard x-Anderson employees and the voting process. I tried to google the company's name and got nowhere.
My request to you all is what is Protiviti and who specifically owns it and what specifically do they do?

And what are the gov't counties in Texas doing with this private company in reference to voting.

"business"..Also find it interesting that Protiviti was chosen to "audit" the Sarbannes-Oxley bill (and call me a cynic) but an anti-money laundering booklet from them has made news recently as well..
