MoveOn Ad contest finalists announced (Bush in 30 Seconds)
Just rec'd this email:

Dear MoveOn member,

With over 2.9 million votes cast, we're proud to announce the finalists in the Bush in 30 Seconds ad contest. These ads have been
selected by the rating public from among over 1,000 ads submitted. They're potent, poignant, and funny - it's a great mix. They perfectly
capture the grassroots approach to politics we're pioneering together.

If you're in the New York area next Monday (1/12), please join us at Bush in 30 Seconds Live, an awards show to celebrate these ads and
announce the winner. The show will be hosted by Janeane Garofalo and include performances and presentations by Margaret Cho, Moby,
Chuck D, John Sayles, and other special guests. With comedy, music, and some of the best political ads the world has ever seen, it'll be
a great night. And thanks to a few generous donors who are covering the costs, every cent you pay for tickets will go toward our $10
million campaign to expose Bush's policies in swing states.

You can get tickets now online for $35, $75, and $150 at:
http://www.moveonvoterfund.org/b30slive.html

We also have some special packages for donors of $1,000 or more - check out the bottom of this email for details.

Without further ado, the finalists are:

You can also view all of the ads on the Bush in 30 Seconds website:
http://www.bushin30seconds.org/

Due to popular demand, we're also adding three new categories for the contest: Funniest Ad, Best Youth Market Ad, and Best Animation.
If you register, you'll be able to vote on the finalists in each of these categories starting on Thursday. You can register at:
http://www.bushin30seconds.org/runoff/index.html

We're also working on making the top 250 ads available online indefinitely.

For everyone who submitted an ad or participated in the voting process, thanks for making Bush in 30 Seconds an incredible grassroots
phenomenon. With this kind of creativity on our side, President Bush's policies don't stand a chance.

Sincerely,
--Adam, Carrie, Eli, James, Joan, Noah, Peter, Wes, and Zack

3. YES!
And thanks! We are thrilled to be in the running and we are also going to be attending the Ceremony in NYC on Monday - we'll be flying all the way from Hawaii to attend :)

This is an incredible honor and we're so glad to see so many wonderful works, hundreds of them - they should start a new cable channel and show them all over and over..

amazing, speechless..

go and vote, both against Bush and FOR your favorite commercial -- we hope it's ours..

thanks again!

7. Congratulations Michael
I just saw the ad, and I liked it very much. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the winning entry. :)

Does anyone agree that Hood Robbin' would be a last choice? Even Billionaires for Bush was a better produced one.

12. Thanks HawkeyeX!
Yeah, I'd be an idiot to say I didn't want to win, but there's a lot of good work there - it's a real competition.. love to see them all air - between CNN and FOX LIES :)

Appreciate your support, you're a great resource here and sorry we never got to use the Limbaugh domain, we were busy being sued by Michael Savage at the time :) didn't want to push the envelope at that particular moment..

10. Do you see the play button?
At first, the bar was scanning, with no video. But when I clicked on the play arrow, it immediately plays.

11. I agree
I wish all of them could be played everywhere all the time! But the teaching our children one really hits the most issues best of all, I think.

13. Easy way to play all the entries in fairly quick succession!
Simply post the desired URL in the Address field and cycle through the entries, i.e.

1) Paste the following in your Address field in your browser:
http://www.bushin30seconds.org/view.html?id=01&size=large

2) View Video

3) Single click on the address field and change the digit "1" to a "3" (there is no "2" video)

4) cycle through to "17" skipping 16.

Hope this works for you.
