OK....I'm looking for US Company who does "wafer thin" Fingerprints!
I'm looking for a "James Bond" outfit with "Q" as it's head who will give me a "non-distinguised" fingerprint that I can slip on my finger and be undetected, so I can get through Airport Terminals.

Any DU'ers see a business in this? Sort of like "Internet Startups of the 90's?"

Can this be done? Is there a business in selling this? How would we order it in "privacy?"

And.....most important.....who would we use for the "non-descript fingerprint which would escape the detection system?"

1. A cadaver from 50 years ago would be ideal
But you'd have to have a lot of them because they would be flagged as they are discovered.

Good luck with your "visit" from Homeland Security.

3. Well, for heaven's sake give me some links. Now...about dead bodies

..I don't think I need to go back that far. I just need a "computer code scramble" of my fingerprints so that I "fit in" with a scan.

To be precise...an "average fingerprint with whorls and swirls....that just go into the "data bank" as "unknown."

Now....I've read a huge amount of "Cold War Spy Novels" so I might be a little "over the top" here. STILL.......I think there is a business for this sort of thing.

Just PM me if you have that business. And that gets by the Asscroft thingy.

I'm serious here......not funning! Really!

4. Sorry, you'll have to google.
It may have been on DU, but I think it was some random link from blogdex.

Maybe One Of the Science News Sites.

6. Actually, it was not a business.
it was some researcher trying to figure out how to stop people from

evading finger print security.

5. Be an Chineses Farmer:
Farmers (and other people who use their hands for rough, physical work) have a problem of CHANGING Fingerprints. What happens is that Fingerprints are NOT DNA derived (DNA has a huge input into fingerprints, but even new born identical twins have different fingerprints).

Thus your fingerprints CAN CHANGE over your lifetime, do to just the old skin wearing out, scars coming and going on the hands, etc.

Woman have it worse, for their hands tend to be smaller and the print lighter. Chinese and other East Asians also have very light fingerprints (sometime so light that their leave no fingerprints).

Thus a Chinese farmer is what you want to be, if you do not want your fingerprints to be effective.

Here is a story of one Chinese-American whose lack of Fingerprints is causing him harm:

7. I read your link. I'm not a 71 year old Chinese Gentleman....I'm looking
for a way (if I have to) get out of the US if there is another Election Mis-Adventure.

And, I think that if I could find a company who would fake my fingerprints with an "unknown" it would prove that Bush's policies are totally misguided, but also get me out of the country on my passport until a different President comes into Power.

I'm looking for computer "airbrushed or etched" fingerprints that would pass as "New/Unknown."

I didn't think I was asking for something that Obscure! :eyes:

8. And finally, monsieur, a wafer-thin mint.
Perhaps if you found the remains of MR. CREOSOTE (Monty Python, Meaning of Life).
