Kissinger went to Vietnam, met with the North Vietnamese, came back and announced in late October of 1972 that "...peace is at hand." Nixon then romped to victory over McGovern. The peace plan fell then apart in mid-November. It was a purely political announcement.

My speculation all along is that the week before the election - say Oct 28 or 29, they find WMD. A week or two after the election, they find big holes in the WMD story and it falls apart.

We will be told it was as a result of US actions. We will NEVER be told if he dies of anything else.

We will be told he is dead and that the (p)resident is responsible for his death, and now, with Osama dead, and Saddam in custody, we are all safe and secure again, and W did it, and we should now just skip the election and go right to the coronation. Other countries will accept him as their rightful savior as well, and the Pope will skip all that "rigmarole" and declare him the Christ......See?
