5. Oh, like we could tell the difference if he gets CJD?
Given that it's major symptom involves a rapid decline in mental function, how would we know if he had it? Would we notice the difference?

While out quail hunting, that is. And he had to eat the evidence.

10. Bush is possibly the only living human being would benefit
from a severe case of mad cow disease. Seriously, with a brain that screwed up, a random perturbation of the brain cells could only result in an improvement!

11. Yes, the Emperor is acting a duly appointed spokesweasel
for the Cattleman's Association and the Beef Industry.

You think the boy-King gives a shit if thousands fall ill? Just ask the respiratorily compromised Ground Zero rescue workers.

14. Alberto Fujimori in Perú did that during the cholera epidemic...
Edited on Thu Jan-01-04 05:40 PM by arcos
Fish was infected, and he went on tv and ate fish, saying it was totally safe.

A few days later, the rate of cholera cases went up dramatically and spread to several other countries in the continent.

18. Maybe Bush still has his official food taster mouse.
Thai mouse to risk life for Bush in last line of bio-chemical defence

A humble mouse is to put its life on a plate for US president George Bush this weekend - acting as his official food taster to thwart any attempt at a bio-chemical assasination.

Even if the brave mouse-warrior against terrorism is now unemployed, Bush has long suffered from Mad Cowboy Disease.

19. So much for safety.
Edited on Thu Jan-01-04 08:53 PM by philosophie_en_rose
I have no doubt that Bush's beef came from a cow whose body underwent a myriad of lab experiments to make it fit for simian consumption.

However, the real fact is that the beef industry is still tracking the infected cow corpses. Beef is probably as safe as it has always been, but supporting the careless intake of meat at this time is dangerous, ignorant, and smug.

Maybe he'll eat more of it in response. You know, "bring 'em on!"

I mean, it's all harmless and the beef industry will just crumble if we don't... (gee, given the chance, corporate america would outsource cattle too...)

22. Bet they check it though
100% pure USDA weapons-grade pandering.:eyes:

Remember those flights by high officials after 9/11 that were supposed to show confidence in air travel. Turned out they pulled Sky Marshalls off of higher risk flights to put them on those trips.
