Nice quotes mean nothing to some. Look at the party in power for quotes they do not understand.

Doesn't change the fact that their politics are indefensible and their object is to deny another voice in the political arena. The right has had control of the public debate for quite a while now, and they damned sure don't want to give up that advantage now.

If everyone to the left of John Ashcroft were to leave the country now, I guarantee that, within a month, the remaining right-wingers would be shooting anyone who disagreed with the official party line.

Only today, they'd be using 9mm Glocks, instead of Lugers.
