AP Headline Manipulates Results of Bush's Popularity!
Here's the headline you'll see tomorrow:
Poll: Bush, Hillary Clinton Most Admired by Americans

Now...wouldn't that suggest that MOST Americans named Bush as the man they most admire (and Hillary as the female they most admire)? Nope.
If that were true, they would have written the headline to read: Most Americans Admire Bush, Hillary.

But..the reality is (according to the article most people will not bother to read past the headline) - is that, "When people were asked to name the man they admire the most, Bush was picked by 29 percent." - Hillary was picked by 19 percent. It was an open question and people could name anyone they wanted. TWENTY NINE PERCENT IS NOT MOST AMERICANS!

Still, the perception is what will remain. It will appear to those who hear the summary on the news - that Bush is the most admired man in America. The media at is manipulative best....Puke!

1. Hillary's a man? I didn't know that.
Are you sure it didn't say "person"?

Good catch! Man, it's sick how these guys can manipulate the media like that and consistently get away with it.

5. uh ... I don't get your point
while I see why you don't like what you read here, and I don't like it either ....

If Bush got the top "score" as it were, then it's not inaccurate to say he's the "most" admired. If he's not, then who is? The guy who scored less? Of course not.

If the headline said "most American admire Bush", yes, that would be wrong.
