O'liely writes this
"In August of 2002, thugs from Saddam Hussein's secret police shot notorious terrorist Abu Nidal dead in a Baghdad residence where he had been staying as Saddam's "guest." The Iraqis immediately labeled Nidal's death a suicide, causing much commotion among fans of CSI, as the man apparently shot himself four times in the head.

Nidal, you may remember, was a Palestinian killer who roamed Europe and the Middle East in the '70s and '80s creating mayhem and murdering civilians. He felt right at home in Iraq. So why was he murdered? Good question.

The importance of this execution may be enormous. The Sunday Telegraph in London is reporting that a document discovered in Iraq details a meeting between Nidal and the leader of the 9/11 attack, Mohammed Atta. The document was allegedly written by Tahir Jalil Habbush al-Tikriti, the former head of the Iraqi Intelligence Service (ISI) and a man still on the run. Dated July, 1, 2001, three months before 9/11, the text says that Atta, along with a man named Abu Ammer, met with Nidal for three days under the direct supervision of the ISI. The document mentions "targets that we agree must be destroyed."

"If this memorandum is legitimate, it will obviously change many things because it establishes that elusive link between Saddam and Al Qaeda. First, Howard Dean's credibility will be shattered, and he will cease to be a viable candidate for the Democrats. Second, France, Germany, Russia and the United Nations will be humiliated. And third, the far-left anti-war people will be marginalized for years to come in this country."

Therefore, this is how O'liely should respond if the memorandum is illegitimate.

"If this memorandum is illegitimate, it will once and for all debunk that elusive link between Saddam and Al Qaeda. First, Howard Dean's credibility will be heightened, and he will more than establish himself to be a viable candidate for the Democrats. Second, France, Germany, Russia and the United Nations need an apology from the Bush and Blair administrations. And third, the far-left anti-war people will be the shining stars of peace for years to come in this country."

1. O'Reilly leaves out that the bogus memo not only
O'Reilly leaves out that the bogus memo not only ties Saddam to Al Quaeda, but also proves that Saddam was trying to acquire uranimum from Niger.

He doesn't tell his viewers that, because then they would know the document is garbage.

By the way, real journalists substantiate documents, then report them.

O'Reilly reports on bogus documents, and says parenthetically, "if this memorandum is legitimate..."

3. Didn't he say
That if Bush was lying about WMD in Iraq, he would never trust the Bush Administration again?

Gee, Bill, some of us never have. Way to keep a promise, bro!

I will see if I can find the one before the war where O'liely talked about WMD.

6. Dubious Link Between Atta and Saddam
The new document, supposedly written by the chief of the Iraqi intelligence service, was trumpeted by the Sunday Telegraph of London earlier this week in a front-page story that broke hours before the dramatic capture of Saddam Hussein. TERRORIST BEHIND SEPTEMBER 11 STRIKE WAS TRAINED BY SADDAM, ran the headline on the story written by Con Coughlin, a Telegraph correspondent and the author of the book "Saddam: The Secret Life."

The document, which according to Coughlin was supplied by Iraq's interim government, doesn't say exactly when Atta was supposed to have actually flown to Baghdad. But the memo is dated July 1, 2001, and Coughlin himself places the trip as the summer of 2001.

The problem with this, say U.S. law enforcement officials, is that the FBI has compiled a highly detailed time line for Atta's movements throughout the spring and summer of 2001 based on a mountain of documentary evidence, including airline records, ATM withdrawals and hotel receipts. Those records show Atta crisscrossing the United States during this period—making only one overseas trip, an 11-day visit to Spain that didn't begin until six days after the date of the Iraqi memo.

8. The Sunday Telegraph is a neo-con propaganda rag...
It's incredible that the Telegraph is the only newspaper that gets these "found documents" - they have a "relationship" with the Black Ops boys...

Sad, sad, sad...

Forgeries and frauds...
