Bush felt profound sadness and shock on 9/11...
Sadness, that we were attacked in such a dastardly way. Oh, the inhumanity of man!

Shocked, that it would happen under his watch, considering all that he had done to prevent it.

6. Take note..
He sat there for FIVE FULL MINUTES before leaving. If he had ordered a jet fighter scramble, there would have been a chance of the second plane being shot-down before it flew into the tower. We have fighters waiting at the ready at all times for such emergencies, and he didn't use that resource. He just sat there and reveled in his upcoming 40-point approval climb.

Sickening.

9. "FIVE FULL MINUTES" ???
closer to twenty. watch the *full* Booker School video

he knew about the first strike BEFORE going in.

note that Andy Card doesn't hesitate for one second to hear what THE PRESIDENT'S reaction to a terrorist strike will be...

the LEAST that could have been done was the evacuation of the South Tower... they were told it was safe to go back to their desks. where many many died. (BushCo knew that simulataneous hijackings was a terrorist attack and they should have reacted *before* the first plane reached NYC. they KNEW about the hijackings well before the attacks began.

4. Consequences of shock
He must really have been shocked, and his entire team also, so that POTUS was not able not act coherently on this "interesting day" and meandered through the skies in his Air Force One without a convincing plan.
(Perhaps he even met Warren Buffet on Offutt military base, who "was hosting an unpublicized charity benefit inside the high security Offutt military base at 8:00 a.m. With him were business leaders and several executives from the World Trade Center, including Anne Tatlock of Fiduciary Trust Co. International, who likely would have died had it not been for the meeting." Source: Paul Thompson, see below)

The entire chaotic action of Bush is described here:

8. Don't forget fearless and resolute...
As we'll see when Lionel Chetwynd's made-for-TV movie of Bush's day is aired this September.

"If some tinhorn terrorist wants me, tell him to come and get me! I'll be at home! Waiting for the bastard!"

"But Mr. President -"

"Try Commander-in-Chief. Whose present command is: Take the President home!"

:wtf:
