Please tell me why, one week after France decided to prosecute Cheney for corrupt business practices including bribery,

AirFrance has landing rights denied for 6 Xmas flights to the US

on the basis of a couple of "suspicious names" on passenger lists

and some no-shows?


How hard is it to buy and toss a few airline tickets for the purposes of disrupting international travel, not to mention ratcheting up the paranoia in the US with an Orange Alert in the holiday season?

This smells as bad as Valerie Palme's outing, and probably came from the same Darth Vader's hands.

Call me paranoid, but I'm too cynical to care at this point. I'd rather be wrong, but the odds aren't good on that.

I've been waiting patiently for any mention of the fact that the French have already interviewed the "suspects" and determined that there was no plot at all. Yet the media blather on as if it was all real, and some big terror attack had been thwarted.

An now we learn that Las Vegas was the intended target for this non-plot. How exactly did they arrive at that, the official Homeland Security Ouija board?
