1. Here it is.
I found "Red, White & Liberal : How Left Is Right & Right Is Wrong" if that's what you're looking for.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0060562978/qid=1072517709/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_1/102-8887430-1577758

3. Um, I think..

5. Alan Colmes
No, that was Al Franken's use of satire. Alan's book is actually quite good.

11. ;yeah, sure, as in......
Frank Luntz's toupee is......quite good

you clearly haven't read Franken's book. I have

it lists MANY instances of Colmes' emasculation, willing and and, perhaps, unwilling, in service of his bosses.

not too hard to understand....just a new version of Lord Haw Haw, to a lesser degree......he knows on which side his bread is buttered.

nice try, though

7. No, but it speaks tremendously about Faux News
that it seemed so plausible, huh?

12. That whole paragraph is a joke. Franken should have made better transition
That whole paragraph is a joke. Franken should have made a better transition from factual material to the joke-paragraph on Colmes.

A phrase like: "I can imagine the following..."

6. this is a guy...
that has his own syndicated radio show and a top rated hour long cable news program... while liberal authors without such advantages remain in the top 10 on amazon.com... and Colmes' book...

Amazon.com Sales Rank: 4,479

Miserable failure :)

8. If it weren't for Al Frankin's book, I never would have heard of Colmes
And I'm not just 'kidding on the square,' either. The only time I've seen Hannity and Colmes was when they were guests on Jon Stewart's 'Daily Show.'

10. I knew of Colmes way back when
Edited on Sat Dec-27-03 08:55 AM by ldoolin
1990-92 era, before the radio station in question dropped him and became all right wing hate all the time.

His radio show had something called Radio Graffiti which was pretty fun to listen to. That segment on Public Enemy's Fear of a Black Planet album with radio callers insulting Chuck D and telling him to go back to Africa came from Colmes' Radio Graffiti.

13. I liked Alan Colmes in the early 90s, too.
Colmes had a good radio show in the early 90s.

I tried to listen to his current radio show once, and he was interviewing Gloria Allred about the Lacy Peterson case, and I wasn't interested.

15. I like Alan's radio show - I think he is VERY good
but his act with Sean is just infuriating - enough to not make me want to buy his book.
