DU this Austin Statesman poll!!!
If the election were held today, how likely would President Bush be re-elected?
It's a slam dunk.
Very likely.
Likely.
Not likely.
No chance.

1. I voted ..it's very close.
It was 17 "Not Likely" to 16 "Likely"... But you wouldn't want to stick a pin in the Texan's balloon, would you?? :)

2. It's Obvious...
It would depend on who his opponent was. I think he could beat Kerry, Gephardt, Kucinich, Sharpton, Edwards and Mosley-Braun. But it the Democrats nominate Howard Dean, Wesley Clark (and I think it will be one of the two and possibly both on the ticket) Bush may as well wave bye-bye.

3. Austin is liberal
less than before all the 'techies' moved here, but moreso than the rest of Texas. The State job are also going to the wayside. I would not be surprised at all if Austin goes Democratic, whoever the candidate chosen. It's the rest of Texas that will be hard. But, I'm the eternal optimist. I think it can be done. Perry is not helping the Bush at all, probably one of the most despised governors in Texas history, even by his fellow re-pugs.

6. WOW!!!.....51% = no chance!!!! and 23 % not likely!!!!
Hmmmmm......
Even if Bush had only a 10% support I'm concerned the voting system
would be rigged for him to be the winner.

10. The truth is, a lot of Texans do not like *
Right now the poll is running 91 votes no chance, 44 votes not likely, 3 likely, 5 very likely, and 28 intellectually-challenged hardcore zealots who voted slam-dunk.

15. Done!
Not likely and No chance currently combine for 80% of the total vote. I realize that online polls are worthless, but damn that's funny!

17. "Not available"
The results page doesn't seem to be there... Hmmm... do you suppose the Statesman feared the reactions of Team Rove if Junior couldn't win a poll in TEXAS?
