8. Me too,
that's great! As creative as a lot of sig lines are, I think this one takes the cake.

5. They lost this moderate a long, long time ago. In the first
Reagan term I saw that they wanted to rape and pillage the environment and condemn women to the dictates of conservative men. So, I left and became "Independent". After some time I realized that every priority position I held was a Democratic position, so I decided I must be a Democrat. Also, I found that it's a lot harder to participate effectively as an Independent when you're interest in registering voters, phone banks, etc.

Been a Democrat for quite a while now and "the shoe fits" so I proudly wear it.

9. I think Reagan appealed
To many because he played the part well. Originally he was a Dem and after the flip to Publican he honed the act as an "everyman's leader," but behimd the scenes the same nits were running the show as BushCo.

14. Glad to hear it!
...and not just because you're from my home state. :)

I know a very good and nice doctor who told me that he was also a republican until Reagan.

He's retired now and he reads everything he can get his hands on about what's really going on. I love to talk to him because it does my heart good to know there are people who are willing to look beyond the media surface.

6. But didn't you read the paper this morning?
The Repubs are going to be much more "moderate" for the upcoming election. They obviously believe they can fool enough people enough of the time.

7. And, unfortunately, from what I'm hearing
and seeing of the idiocy of my fellow sheeple, they very well may be able to do just that.

12. The Bushs have damaged the Repubican Parties image forever..
THe Republicans will now always be seen as the party of the far right.
