Here is why hating Bush is a winning strategy..

Conventional wisdom says don't go negative, the voters don't like that. The CW is wrong. There is pent-up frustration that the media has protected Bush. Dean and Clark seem to realize that only by uncovering the scab that is BushCo, will the wounds ever begin to heal. It would be a positive strategy to go negative.

We can no longer ignore the obvious.

And ultimatly, very frustrating. Without fail, when a candidate uses an issue for a news cycle or two, you will hear "why doesn't so and so focus more on (any of the other issues *not* heavily pushed)?"

There is also the fact that the "message" has to be pointed, consolidated (simple- we're dealing with Americans) and POSITIVE.

If the truth behind 9-11 comes out, nothing else matters.

He plays that 9-11 card over and over, in any circumstance.

The best move-on ads I saw were the ones where they simply compiled clips of Bush lying on television.
