The investigation, it is all political?
Talk about hypocrisy coming from the big, fat idiot.

What is a blow job compared to LIHOP, the war in Irag, lieing to congress, and the Largest recorded deficit ever.

2. Just talking about Rush's problems
He said on the air today that Democrats could not beat him in the poltical arena(he calls his show the political arena), so this is how they are getting back at him.

talk about a sorry excuse

3. There is a BIG difference
Rush committed a felony, Clinton had consentual sex with an adult, which is not a crime.

5. I heard that

I think the wording he used was "cant defeat me in the arena of political ideas"

Since when has there ever been an "arena of political ideas" that he has participated in. When he can push a button to cut the caller off as soon as he figures out they disagree with him,he seems unwilling to allow anyone into his "arena" for fear of defeat.

4. Flush and Clinton
was listening to Flush this morning because I had seen on some blogs that his records were unsealed. Flush complains about them casting a line, then says: "We still haven't seen Clinton's medical records!"

If nothing else, that is funny.

One thing about repukes, they never ever even get a glimpse of how smarmy they are.

9. clinton broke the law
he lied under oath. That is what the impeachment was about not about having sex. You people need to stop lying about the whole impeachment thing. He commited a crime, not exactly the worst thing someone can do, but he still commited a crime.

10. Actually, that is a lie
Read the deposition.

It was a lawsuit. He was asked if he had sexual relations. Read the dictionary. Sexual relations is defined as penetration of the vagina with the penis.

He got a blowjob.

Sneaky? Sure. Answered the question honestly? You bet. Any lawyer will tell you to answer questions in a deposition honestly but without expanding on the answer.

He was impeached in an attempted coup, which came to fruition when Gore's election was stolen from him by SCOTUS et al.

15. Splitting hairs
He lied to a Federal Judge. There's no getting around it.

Either way, if any of us had done what Clinton did (lied to a Federal Judge) or what Rush did ( bought drugs), we'd be in prison right now.

17. That is another lie
He did not lie to a federal judge. He gave a deposition which was truthful.

The idiot asking the question didn't ask the right question.

He was being hounded by Judicial Watch and the gang of RW idiots using Paula Jones as their shill. Didn't you see her driving around in her leased Mercedes, until the impeachment was over at which time they dumped her? I applaud him for answering the question truthfully and narrowly.

FYI, the legal industry is all about "splitting hairs" as you so deftly put it.

20. The Judge said he lied.
Edited on Tue Dec-23-03 09:16 PM by YNGW
Wrote a big, long comment on it. He even paid a fine for having done so.

I'll believe the judge, and what I know to be true.

Thanx.

14. No one said he impeached for having sex
he was impeached for lying about sex. BTW, the case against Clinton would've been thrown out in any court. If Starr/Ray had anything approaching a real case, they would've brought charges when Clinton left office and not cut that deal with him.

26. Lying under oath is not a crime legal maven
It is only purgery if the facts were material to the case. Which they werent. The questions themselves were traps to get him to lie, they had nothing to do with the case. He was under no obligation to answer them honestly, and the fact is, he has elbow room on that too, as someone already adressed.

He committed no crime.

11. Think about it...
The investigation, it is all political?

If you or I had an affair outside of marriage and got caught at it, other than our spouses who would care?

If you or I got hold of a really large quantity of prescription drugs without a prescription and got caught at it, the state police would be at the front door in no time flat.

So, you tell me which investigation was political.

13. Only a moron...
.... even has to think about it. The American public saw through the witch-hunt from the beginning.

Let's put Bush* under special prosecutor scrutiny. It won't take 6 years to find a *real* impeachable offense.

16. Rush is an addict, pure and simple,
just like the *idiot he supports.

He demands loyalty, though there is no reason to give it to him, just like his "leader."

He plays the victim, "poor me," and "problems are everybody elses fault," just like his "leader."

He cannot take criticism, just like his "leader."

Two addicts in a pod, supporting one another's addictions.
