The Bush Administration has provided this country with adults to run the national security operation who are real pros and who know what they are doing. Just ask them.

And what unknown damage to our country is being planned right now because bob novak was used by the white house to out an undercover cia operative? What defense mechanisms were thwarted because of that act of treason? We will never know, just like this administration wants it to be.

And why are the democratic candidates not up to the challenge of fighting terrorism? Because right wing radio says so?

Are you safer today than you were on that day?
Not really, given that we have provoked a couple of million more people into being willing to give up thier lives to get revenge on us.
Not counting the wonderfully lax rules I'm finding out the FDA is using to make sure our food is safe. (Molly Ivins 'Bushwacked' is a wonderful book.)

Trying to distract us from something, or worse, covering thier arse because they KNOW they can't stop it.
