1. The truest-sounding thing i read:
An unnamed Western intelligence source in the Middle East told the Express: "Saddam was not captured as a result of any American or British intelligence. We knew that someone would eventually take their revenge, it was just a matter of time."

Presumably someone Iraqi.

2. aren't these people (the Kurds)
the same ones we (meaning GHWB)encouraged to revolt and promised we'd help then backed down causing mass executions? How 'bout another slap in the face as bush* tries to take the credit for capturing the big slimeball. Another thing, I keep hearing bush* try to take credit for the 'roadmap'? It wasn't his idea. He chose to ignore the Palestinian problem for two years.
