Terror alerts used as cover for poor shopping season?
Today I realized that the recent elevated terror warnings came out right after the nations retailers started to report that the Holiday shopping season is turning out to be a bad one. In January Bush Co. will blame the bad shopping season not on his tax cuts for the rich or his lack of competence in governing, but rather he will blame it on the war on terror and the recent threat level elevation.

I believe that this is just another cover up and a failure to take personal responsibility from this mis-administration for the mess that they have created. The talking head pundits are all saying that the economy is booming, yet main street is starving and there will be more pink slips then presents under the tree this year.

But you can't blame Bush for your miseries. Ohhh, nooo. It's those damn terrarists that are driving down the economy. The terrarists and Clinton's crooked weenie are responsible for anything that goes wrong for Bush.

We as a nation need to keep a watchful eye out for stealth pretzels as they have already been used by terrarists in an assassination attempt on our great and fearless leader. The only elevated threat to our nation at this time is job security and decent standards of living, and George Bush ain't doing squat about that.

He's such a tool.

3. I was thinking the same thing.
You know that a bunch of unemployment benefits will end monday.

A bunch of christmas help will get their pink slip too. many of them have not worked long enough to get unemployment, so they are SOL.

7. That's right!
We can't blame chimpy for the poor economy. It's all those liberals on welfare dragging the country down. /sarcasm.

I for one have made it a point to stay out of Wally World this Christmas season.
