Poll question: 9/11: Did Bush know?
DO you think Bush knew what was going to happen? I'm not asking if he had vague clues...but did he know that planes were going to be used to crash into major cities on that day?

1. Only if Rove and Cheney told him. bush is essentially a figurehead

All he has to do is look at the little red light and read the cards. He doesn't have to know what the words mean.

3. The Importance of the August.
2001 meeting in Crawford, Texas. With as much information one can gather from reliable news sources which listed the countries which gave intel to the U.S.. I.E. Egypt just 12 days prior to September 11,2001 informed the Administration that such a plan was in action. Plus all the earlier intel sent to Washington from Germany, France, Israel,Indonesia, makes the August meeting of extreme importance. This is the report the 9-11 commssion has been asking for and the administration has not turned it over. So, yes I would like to know exactly what bush knew and what he did with this intel. But we all know what soon happened after that August meeing. Yep, he went on the Heartland tour.

4. Bush Knew and Cheney Planned It.
You're correct, DuctapeFatwa. There are chimpanzees in Atlanta laboratories with bigger vocabs than Bush. The unelected fraud's job is to cheerlead war and to fundraise. He has added zero to any discussion I've heard him in. Even when the Little Turd from Crawford hams it up for the for'n press, he demonstrates all the charm of a condescending pimple-popper in the community lavatory of a second-tier frat house he is.

7. He knew something would happen...
...not on that particular day, nor did he know what method the terrorists would use to attack us, but he knew something would happen. He was hoping it would happen! They were ready to exploit it!

8. Bush doesn't know his ass from his elbow
There's no way the handlers would trust chimpy with that kind of planning. He'd fuck it up, say something stupid. You're asking about a man whos brain is fried from years of cocaine, nepotism, and religious fanaticism. He's a useful idiot, not someone who "knows things".

9. Bush didn't know
All those warnings were just smoke. Just little ol' orange alerts like we have today.. nothing to be alarmed about, you see?

He didn't know until... until Card came over and told him, in front of all those cameras, that a second aeroplane had smacked the second tower. That's when he knew: " America was under attack". He was just mistaken when he said later: "I saw the first aeroplane hit the first tower".

Once he knew, because Card told him so, that we were being attacked, why, he just sat there for awhile like any good leader would, and gathered up his thoughts designing a plan to save himself by flying half way across America. And he did. He saved himself. So there!

But back to those alerts... just because several FBI agents had passed along warnings, and just because several countries also passed along warnings that an attack was soon to occur, and just because Condi Rice had only thought a little bit about using jets as missiles, but discarded that silly notion, does that mean that the world's most dangerous man had to listen? Of course not. Therefore, since he didn't listen, he didn't know.

Geez, you'd think those whacko conspiracy theorists would believe the conspiracy theory that a bunch of cavemen would out-fox the FBI and the Air Force and Pentagon all at once and all on the same day. Yep, that's one that takes the cake. And eats it too.

If Bush didn't know... he should have. Grounds for dismissal in either case. Don't you know?
