Saddam, Saddam, Saddam, Saddam, Saddam, Saddam....no end?
Letterman, Leno have been reLENTless in their pursuit of Saddam jokes.

no end in sight there.

where are all the LIHOP 911 jokes? the Hans Blix was right jokes?
the constant Iraqattack jokes?

will the media let go of this stupid story in time for the election, or will Rove's shadowy directive be pursued til next November?

when will this furor calm down? it's even pushed Michael Jackson/Lacy Peterson off gasbag headlines

very significant revelations (not new to anyone who's been paying attention) are coming out, and being ignored. is this timing just serendipitous for the pugs, or did they know about Kean, know about Breitweiser, know about all the Perle garbage (what else am I missing?).

how 'lucky' for them to have this most excellent prize fall into their most undeserving laps

thanks, media, for outdoing yourself in craven supinity, surpassing, unbelievably, your sorry performances 'reporting' the carrier/Thanksgiving Reifenstahl moments.

may you all rot

1. May I second your recorded sentiment.
Check this out, its the only thing I've seen that was meaningful-I applaud the poster and Michael Moore.

2. great link to Michael Moore.......
snip

Thank God Saddam is finally back in American hands! He must have really missed us. Man, he sure looked bad! But, at least he got a free dental exam today. That's something most Americans can't get.

America used to like Saddam. We LOVED Saddam. We funded him. We armed him. We helped him gas Iranian troops.

But then he screwed up. He invaded the dictatorship of Kuwait and, in doing so, did the worst thing imaginable -- he threatened an even BETTER friend of ours: the dictatorship of Saudi Arabia, and its vast oil reserves. The Bushes and the Saudi royal family were and are close business partners, and Saddam, back in 1990, committed a royal blunder by getting a little too close to their wealthy holdings. Things went downhill for Saddam from there.

But it wasn't always that way. Saddam was our good friend and ally. We supported his regime. It wasn’t the first time we had helped a murderer. We liked playing Dr. Frankenstein. We created a lot of monsters -- the Shah of Iran, Somoza of Nicaragua, Pinochet of Chile -- and then we expressed ignorance or shock when they ran amok and massacred people. We liked Saddam because he was willing to fight the Ayatollah. So we made sure that he got billions of dollars to purchase weapons. Weapons of mass destruction. That's right, he had them. We should know -- we gave them to him!

http://www.michaelmoore.com/

say what you will about his current/past transgressions, he more often than not connects the twentypenny with the 20 ouncer.

and while we're at it, this should be posted in EVERY thread, whether immediately relevant, or not:

dammit, why don't the DEMS start using this picture, making this connection EVERY damn time they open their cakeholes?

JUST like Gingrich said he was going to do WRT to WJC/Monica, back in 98.

don't they ever learn that simple and to the point is best?

get it into the subconscious of the public, just as the fascists did to Gore, with the bogus "liar" garbage.

time to hit, it Achordate Party. wise up. use the ammo that's available

start your own damn boiler room

4. finally overcame my addiction, mostly
just CSPAN, except when someone alerts to items of interest.

that's good advice, though......good for physical/emotional wellbeing.

all the news that's fit to consume is right here, in the ether.

speaking of which, this story should get LOADS of attention:

in which 911 wants to dePOSE (not that way; it's already happened) Saddam. how cool would THAT be?

5. Even 'South Park' jumped on the bandwagon
In tonight's episode, the 'man behind the curtain' who pulled the strings of the Evil Canadian P.M. was none other than -- Saddam. They put it together quick, because it had the whole ball of wax: the spider hole, "I want to negotiate", etc. They even made him the subject of the Canadian parade at the end.

South Park hasn't lost its bite.
