1. He fascinates the hell out of me
For the same reason Bush does:

How can someone fuck up so spectacularly and be so prolific about it?

5. You don't suppose Franks is gunning for political office?
Edited on Wed Dec-17-03 10:19 PM by Cascadian
Maybe a possible replacement for Cheney? Maybe the director of the soon to be created Homeland Security Secret Police once Patriot Act II appears?

I cannot believe Bawbwa Wawwa would find this cretin fascinating unless she was paid off!

Edited on Wed Dec-17-03 10:29 PM by mrdmk
Bush said the following in last nights interview with Diane Sawyer. Cheney is Bush's V.P. The rest of the cabinet is up for grabs because Bush has not decided. :freak:

7. Babba Wabba - now theres a real Woman's Woman, thinks for herself
We could add the thought provoking appearences on the View to her list of contributions towards the quality in American journalism and media today.

In general , seems that we as American women have a broken rearview mirror and perception that seems to be locked in the "women may appear greater than they really are" position, especially when it comes to women like Ms. Walters.

Im sure her achievements may be viewed as prestigious and certainly financially impressive, but what has she done to truly inform and enlighten women, teenage girls, and/or men during her career as a "journalist"?

9. What about that glorious Anne Heche interview?
Anne Heche is obviously insane, and any decent person would have stopped that interview about the time Anne started channelling aliens and speaking in tongues. And not only did she continue the interview, she made sure she hyped it so that advertisers would pay top dollar to see that freak show. She shows about as much compassion for her guests as Jerry Springer. I have more respect for Springer. At least he admits he's peddling sleaze instead of running around calling himself a high-and-mighty journalist.

12. Gen. Franks Doubts Constitution Will Survive WMD Attack
http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2003/11/20/185048.shtml

Franks offered his assessment on a number of topics to Cigar Aficionado, including:

President Bush: “As I look at President Bush, I think he will ultimately be judged as a man of extremely high character. A very thoughtful man, not having been appraised properly by those who would say he’s not very smart. I find the contrary. I think he’s very, very bright. And I suspect that he’ll be judged as a man who led this country through a crease in history effectively. Probably we’ll think of him in years to come as an American hero.”

On the motivation for the Iraq war: Contrary to claims that top Pentagon brass opposed the invasion of Iraq, Franks said he wholeheartedly agreed with the president’s decision to invade Iraq and oust Saddam Hussein.

17. I saw him give a speech on C-SPAN a while ago
It was in Texas and he jokingly asked the audience if there were any Democrats in the audience. One or two hands went up. The crowd laughed. Then he asked it there were any French. The audience booed.
