Rove needs to keep it clean in PA. Voters don't like negative ads
In PA's last election for governor, negative campaigning was rejected flat out by Pennsylvanians. A well known candidate (former Gov. Bob Casy's son) lost when he used very negative ads against his Dem. primary candidate Ed Rendell, now our governor. Surveys said that people were turned off by Casey's negative ads. Then in the race for governor, the republican ran very negative ads and lost to Rendell. Rendell would just say the ads were wrong and that they were negative and kept talking about his qualifications and programs. In another previous House race a guy named Turzai ran an incredibly negative campaign against a Democrat and lost. Look what happened in Philly mayor's race when repubs threw dirt at Street, bugging his office. Rove will need to "keep it clean" in PA. I think this is hard for him to do. (We will have to watch it, too)

3. That is so true
Don't get too confident. I bet Rove's got a few aces up his sleeve for PA. It's a hot ticket for both sides.

I'm from the extremely Republican town of Somerset, PA btw. Full of rednecks and bigots.

4. Huh, and why should we care about Rove's strategy
to get a Bush win in PA?
