4. We've been over this dozens of times
Ralph did nothing wrong. Katherine Harris is the criminal here.

8. when your support
is barely above the margin of error before an election, you pull out. Nader carries the majority of blame. Greens should build support from the bottom up, not attempt to go top down, thereby leaching support from Democrats.

12. And again

A) Greens do run in lower elections: http://greens.org/elections/

B) There is no guarantee that Green votes would automatically go to a dem. I would have voted for the Socialist candidate before I voted for Gore. And had McCain won the GOP nom, I would have considered voting for him.

15. look up the word commitment
as you appear unfamiliar with its meaning.

Nader made a commitment to the Green Party and ,as the campaign unwound, found Gore's lack of guts and weak effort to actually confront Bush on any issues revolting. He fulfilled hs obligation to the Greens and to his own conscience and love of country by continuing in a race in which he found both candidates lacking. I wholeheartedly agreed with him in that.

Nader haters seem unaware of facts and seem also to need someone to blame for the failures of their own party, pity. Nader is probably not going to be the Green Party candidate this time out, as we will see in January when they pick someone. Possibly LaDuke, possibly Camejo, either is fine with me and ,depending upon who the dems pick Ill as likely vote either Green.......

16. Camejo is terrific
Matt Gonzalez is throwing his support behind Dennis, though. Which is all right, because I really like Dennis as well.

in the face of all facts. Pathetic.

2. Giving props to Dean...
Saying we should give him the benefit of the doubt. That Dean would be BETTER than Bush. That Democrats need to stop attacking Dean.

But he still supports Kucinich. But it sounds like he likes Dean.

3. I agree with him on one thing
Edited on Wed Dec-17-03 03:52 PM by mot78
that we shouldn't be attacking each other. Is it just me, or is he saying this in a subtle way to attract "Dean or Green" types if we nominate someone they don't like?

7. Well I know this always starts flame wars
But if a conservative Dem is nominated I WILL vote Green. I am sick of voting for people I don't like. If Dean at least mantains a center/left agenda and is nominated, I will support him. I would support Kucinich. I would not support the likes of Gephardt and Lieberman. Supporting them would just give the party the green light to move even further to the Right.

11. Me too
The easiest decision I can make is to vote for a candidate who represents me.

5. I guess our response to the Nader poll on his site helped.
I am still a Clark supporter, but will vote for anyone, or anything that can beat bush in 2004

6. One thing that boggles my mind:
If Nader's running to get people interested and involved to come out and beat Bush, then why doesn't he just ENDORSE and SUPPORT the Democrat (except Lieberman) rather than run against them?

10. A party name
doesn't make someone a good person. If Gephardt who had leadership for all these years did nothign to promote a progressive agenda or look into the REAL problems facing America..why do you think he would do any better as President? We live in a Democracy and we deserve the best.

14. Haven't listened to it, but it sounds like it could be GREAT news.
Knowing Nader, if he says "I think Howard Dean is better than George Bush, by quite a bit," that is a very strong indicator that he will not run this time around.

That will be a phenomenal relief. We have got to all join together and do everything we can to defeat this monstrous cabal. If Ralph stays out, that's a major plus.
