James Baker and Iraqi Debt
James Baker has been sent by Bush to convince the Europeans to ease the debt owed by Iraq. I heard Baker say to the press, "We have to ease the debt burden on the Iraqi people." All of this while the U.S. debt burden mounts for our children and grandchildren. Outrageous!
:grr:

1. James Baker's mission is to reduce Iraq debt...
...so there will ultimately be more profits for American companies such as Halibutorn. JB is the rapist in charge.

2. Reducing the debt of a nation is "foreign aid"
Edited on Wed Dec-17-03 02:18 AM by Bozita
Baker is asking for outright sacrifices by other nations.

Halliburton moves on.

on edit: Other words can be substituted for "sacrifices."

3. We are responsible for that debt
Hidden little "secret" of occupation according to the Geneva Convention or the UN Charter, I forget which. I ran across it a couple months ago. Maybe somebody else wants to do the search if they think it's important. I don't feel like it. ha! But I think that's why it's so important to the Administration to get it done.

4. The Bush Family Consigliere at work
Remember when Bush scoffed "I'll get my lawyer." when asked whether he was worried about breaking int'l law by excluding anti-war nations from reconstruction?

HE DID!
