what is bush`s fascination
Edited on Wed Dec-17-03 12:15 AM by rchsod
with "rape rooms"? he said it again after saddam`s "capture". there is something very troubling in his repeated use of this term.it seems he is fixated on the image or meaning. any thoughts?

1. Dumby's word selections are all audience-tested by people like Frank Luntz

I sleep in a bedroom. So, likely, do you.

But Saddam uses a rape room.

Rove is a genius at understanding the 'Merican public.

Language is where the votes are.

Rove knows it. So should we.

2. Effective, alliterative meme...
...that piques the interest of the terminally sex-and-violence-obsessed right wing.

I'm sure his handlers advise him to use the phrase wherever he can.

3. Any act which harms, humiliates, or intimidates others seems to...
...capture his imagination--torture, assault, execution, war. My intuition has always told me that he's one sick fuck.

4. Probably the same fasination Jimmy Swaggart had with hookers
every time the guy preached, he preached about the evils of prostitution, and we all know what happened to him.

5. I was going to post that same question
Did Poppy lock him up in a special room of the mansion as a child, where the gardner and servents had their way with him? This really did strike me as very odd. Of all the things. It is weird enough if he were simply fixated on rape. But he could blend it into the sentence..."he was a murderer, a torcherer, a rapist..." but, no, Bush says "he's a murderer, a torturer, and he had rape rooms."

That is just the dumbest thing...I can just hear Saddam yelling at his thugs..."Hey, what the hell are you doing in here! This the kitchen, you fool! Take her to the rape room, immediately!"

The rape rooms are for raping only. For torture, interrogation and general evil, please us another appropriate room. Thank you from the staff of Club Saddam.

*KNOCK KNOCK* Anybody in here?
"Hey, close the door, man! Can't you see I'm raping in here?! Get your own rape room!"
"Sorry, my brother! Come now, you whore!...I think there is another rape room in the lower wing..."
