A little less infighting and a lot more piling on, please!
Having involved myself in politics for thirty-five years, I fully understand the machinations of primary campaigns. "My respected opponents are slugs".

In a normal election year, where the incumbant president isn't a monster, this type of infighting is more or less accepted behavior. I don't subscribe to it, but that has always been the reality.

But in this election year it is more imeritive than ever that the nine candidates for the party nomination spend little or no time bashing their opponents, and focus, not only on their unique qualifications, but on why it is so important to send Bush packing.

I would like to hear a relentless drumbeat by all nine candidates, sending the voting public clear and reasonable concerns about a president who has done so much harm to our citizens in so many different ways.

Believe it or not, there are a lot of voters out there who are not quite as convinced as us that Bush is such a bad guy. My sister, a lifelong democrat is one. And she is one of millions.

The candidates need to spend less time beating up on each other, and figure out how to make a really compelling case to get rid of George Bush.

Maybe, just maybe, the one who does the best job of that will win the nomination.

Remember, it does little good to preach to the choir.
