6. 3 points
1) It is both moral and smart for Dean to stick with his guns on this. Its very important that he does. Waffling on this like some would hurt him.

2) How he delivers this speech isn't really important. Most people will only see 10 seconds on news highlights or read it. So the content and reaction is more important than the actual delivery.

3) Faux news had a discussion group afterwords. 2 people said that Dean had no ideas on how to lead the country and was trying to run down true americans. one guy tried to say why hasn't bush found ben laden. They cut him off and said they didn't have time for that. Typical Faux propaganda.

7. Attack the repugs Howie !
Edited on Mon Dec-15-03 01:52 PM by Hoppin_Mad
I really hope that Dean and ALL Dems will start attacking the repukes for arming Saddam, looking the other way when he gassed the kurds, sold him more womd, gave him the green light to invade Kuwait - but then as recently as 2001, considered lifting sanctions on him, so Oily Dick and his cabal of corrupt croanies could sell him more oil field equipment to line their greedy pockets. Big Dog disallowed Halliburtons request to sell Saddam more equipment in 2000.

Saddam - his "mass graves' and "rape rooms" etc can be laid SQUARLEY at the feet of the repukes.

8. Presidential
Strong speech.

I would have preferred not to have the split screen of the search for wmd's in Saddam's hair though.

10. That speech kicked Ass!
I loved how he called it the Administration's war and how he felt that if the international community had been involved the war would not have been as deadly or as costly. He gave the figures baby, I loved every second of that speech! He said exactly what he needed to and it will be hard for the repukes to spin this one on him. Even buchanan said that he stuck to his guns and didn't give an inch! Naysayers can raise a stink as much as they want but Dean ALWAYS says what needs to be said, even if it isn't always eloquent. The main reason I like Dean is his ability to stand up to the repugs, that is why he can win in 2004!

13. I thought he was a little nervous....
but overall very presidential looking
and sounding. Confident, direct and
definitely showing leadership qualities.

I switched around channels and noticed
that fox had a lot of static in the
background which was annoying while
Dean was talking, I wonder if that was
deliberate.
