Perhaps they kneew where SH was all along, and were just waiting to get him. They saved it for a moment when they needed closure so they could move on to another country on the PNAC list. Should Syria be worried now?

1. I think some Kurds had him for weeks or more...
...and they made a deal of some sort in exchange for letting the Americans 'find' him. He had obviously been kept prisoner in that hole -- it had been walled up from the outside.

That's my current working theory, anyway. I'm watching whether the Kurds get any prizes for it other than cash.

2. i remember what you said
you said they had a plan.and i agree with this. this doesn't mean the intention of the plan was to do good for the iraqi people or anything like that. but a plan to help in 2004. they remember what happened in the first bush administration with the first bush losing even after "winning" the gulf war. they know they can't just end it now. but they can take steps to show they are doing good while keeping the fear or issue in the front unlike in 92. and remember, most people are ignorant of what is going on. they believe the whore media whose whoring for bush will just get worse as we get closer to the elections.

4. Yes
However, Syria is still on low boil, and scheduled for sometime after Nov. '04. If I read the situation correctly which is difficult given the status of media in our country, Syria is well aware of their own position, thus making important to keep us tied down in Iraq. I would think it was Syria rather than Iran because of Israel's role in all of this.

5. The invasion of
Syria won't happen immediately because all our troops are in Iraq, but it will happen sooner or later unless the Imperial Dictator is ousted from office in 2004.

6. Does Saddam Speak English?
Reading this post about the hole being sealed from the outside and the post about the new, crisp bills they found....it occured to me that I don't ever think I have heard Saddam speak english. In interviews he uses an interpreter. Still, at the capture he supposedly spoke english with the soldiers?

7. Yes
But if Bush does make the move towards Syria, it should be noted that Bush supporters of the likes found at marinemoms.us may not like it. They are cheering finding Saddam in hopes that it is equivalent to V-J Day.
