1. If you believe nobody's attacking Dean, then I got a beach condo for you.
....In Tucson.

2. Kerry and Gephardt people attacked Dean with bin Laden
Shades of Saxby Chambliss bullshit against Dean:

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/news/archive/2003/12/12/politics2015EST0748.DTL

I refuse to vote for anybody but Dean right now. Primary or general election, it's Dean or nobody.

3. If Kerry's really behind this....
...then the guy has officially gone MENTAL.

(DISCLAIMER - I don't want to believe Kerry would stoop this low, but after the ad he talked Max Cleland into making, I wouldn't be a damn bit surprised)

12. I'd be less likely to believe Kerry and Gephardt are behind this
if it wasn't a well known fact that operatives from each campaign have joined forces in an attempt to pig pile Dean. It all started when they tried to stop those big union endorsements. And Walt is right. If neither of them come out strongly condemning these ads it's the same as admitting they either approve or are involved.

20. What a stupid ad
"The ad shows a picture of Osama bin Laden and says that Dean, the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, doesn't have the military or foreign policy experience needed to take on "those who wake up every morning determined to destroy Western civilization."

As if Dumbya had or has ANY experience in military or foreign policy. Gimme a break.

And, oh, BTW, Osama is STILL alive and hasn't been caught or stopped by Dumbya yet.

4. Stop spreading rumors Deaniacs!
Both these guys are former staffers and there's NO proof that either Kerry or Gephardt have anything to do with it. Don't let your sick obsession get in the way of fairness. Your attacks are ridiculous - you never memtion the facts. Rather, you look for any excuse to go on the offensive.

I have no doubt that both Gep and Kerry will denounce this ad, if it comes out. YOU seem to forget that Max Cleland is one of Kerry's closest friends. WHY would he ever do that to another candidate???

Be fair!!

5. Yeah, Would Be Nice If Gephardt & Kerry Denounce It
That would be the classy thing to do. I hope they do it.

6. As far as I'm concerned, this is Civil War and Kerry declared it
If he denounces it, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but not until he denounces it.

Then, I'll pay very close attention to the donor list come February. If there are connections to the eventual nominee, I will become a Green. Fuck any party that would pull this shit.

13. In February
we will find out.

Maybe John Kerry could approve of it now and then in a few weeks when it's not going well he could come out against it first. then he could say he was against it the whole time.

Oh sorry, wrong candidate. :)

Humor or as it is stated in another post, Humour in England.

9. Denouncing it is not enough
If they allow the ad to air, and then try and denounce it, it will just be like voting for the war, and then claiming that they were against it.

16. Why would Max Cleland blatantly LIE, you mean?
That's a great question. I've been trying to figure that out ever since he lied about Dean and the draft.

22. Maybe Dean Just Pulled A Karl Rove
and did the ad himself using the 2 former Gep & Kerry staffers. This way he can pretend to be offended and get his base all riled up.e

Remember how Rove wiretapped his own office and got caught?

And how someone from Junior's campaign mailed a tape of him practising for the debate to Gore's campaign?

If some folks around here had it their way, Dean would look like a piece of swiss cheese by now. Good heavens!

I just wish it would ALL stop.
