Isn't anyone asking about what was missing this Sunday morning?
There was NOTHING about the voting machines (aka vote thefts).

Did anyone hear anything? If you look at the list of newspapers who carried it (a most impressive list) the dates were all July 23 - 26 - why wasn't it covered?

Is it going to fade before Russert speaks about it?

Will C-Span bring in anyone this week to cover it?

Is it going to die?

Or did I just miss it this Sunday AM?

2. the stories earlier in the week kinda shut the door
the ones I read all picked up upon the fact that the software used was outdated. There was not a strong accusatory sense about the coverage.

Unless someone can get past this it is going to be hard to get momentum.

3. Bev DID say that it would be a 'print' story
at first.

so, the fact that CNN has already done a feature is a good thing.

Sun talkathons are about *opinion* not INVESTIGATION

after the claims are INVESTIGATED you can be sure that there will be OPINIONS

5. Once it catches on in print...
TV will pick it up. That's how the news biz works. One organization breaks the story and the rest copy it. Same goes for print versus broadcast. The Internet has shown its worth in recent days, wot?

8. It's gonna get real big sooner rather than later.
It's got a lot of mystery and intrigue behind it. It's a very sexy story. No doubt, voting machine fraud was rampant in '02 and might be again in '04 if we don't stop it.

9. You can start passing this link around to help grab a bit of attention...

... couple it with a link about the actual story. Humor/satire has a way of grabbing ppl's attention where they might look at a few hundred words of text and just not bother reading.

10. It's not going away because it can't.
The machines are out there and they suck.

Any election they decide is in doubt.
