Bush going DOWWWWN- Latest Zogby Poll Results!!
Re-elect numbers still high, but Bush DOWN ON ALMOST EVERY ISSUE.

Taken before the WMD and deaths in Iraq issues really got hot. Bias: always more white people, registered repugs and over $75,000 people.

1. The difference between the phone and interactive polls
is staggering. In the interactive poll, his job performance is barely 50 percent, and 40 percent think he's doing a poor job. Wow!

2. What is an interactive poll?
How is it different from a regular poll?

4. Interactive is an online email poll.
I was one of the people polled for this. I always rate Bush poor in everything.

BTW, re-elect numbers below 50% are not considered high. They are considered death.

5. Some, like this one, also have more gradations in views.
Like: Progressive/very liberal, liberal, moderate, conservative, very conservative, undecided/won't say--not just Democrat, Republican, independent..More accuracy, more subtlety...and Bush is still DOWWWWN from the last poll.

HOORAY!!

6. thanks
one gets the feeling sometimes that there are only about 10 of us out there that feel so strongly about the way this misadministration and its leaders are taking this country. It is nice to know that there are others out there with similar feelings.

8. Interesting point
Gore got more votes than Bush in 2000. If you look at Zogby's stat on who participated in the poll - either the phone or the interactive, the number who voted for Gore is around 40%. This means the poll is probably under-representative in people who would not vote for Bush again, no matter what.

This follows seeing as phone polls are almost uniformly skewed towards the Republican side due to demographics. The interactive also is biased because you can sign up to take these polls which means there is little to no randomness in the sampling.

9. According to the Zogby Phone Poll....
Bush has picked up exactly .4% in the re-elect poll. 43.9% said they voted for Bush in 2000, and 44.3% say they plan to vote for him in 2004.

Very interesting.
